Cheapism’s picks can save users not only money, but lots of time and effort in the yard. Experts note that electric leaf blowers are well-suited to smaller yards where a power cord can reach and more powerful gas models are best for larger areas and heavy-duty cleanups.

The list reflects Cheapism’s research into must-have features and analysis of performance reviews. The best leaf blowers, the Toro 51599 Ultra and Husqvarna 125B, blow at 170 mph or higher and 255 CFM or higher, weigh less than 10 pounds, and have a noise level of 70 decibels or less. The Weed Eater FB25 also meets these specs, while the Craftsman 74828 is less powerful but seems to make up for that with ease of use.

It folds flat for storage and transportation, is also ideal at home for barbecues and as a temporary potting bench and can be left outside all year round.
